Will a remote start work on a manual shifted car?

I want to get a remote start for my car that has a standard transmission. I know it works for cars with automatic shift but do they make remote starts for standard transmission.

it is possible, but needs to be wire professionally so that the remote won’t operate if the gear is engaged…

I have seen tragedies when ppl tried to start cars with a remote and it jumped forward hitting what in its way….

be careful and good luck mate

yes, there are kits out there designed for manual cars

NO, you cannot they won’t do it when you park it it is in gear so when you remote start it your car will try to move so they will not install them on manual shifted cars

yea. I just got one put on my car. I you know about how to wire that stuff, go ahead. I had the shop do it. They didn’t do anything special and it cost 175 with a basic remote start. (just unlocks/locks doors and starts car. some other stuff thats no use). The only difference between my manual and my friends automatic is that when your going to get out of the car, you have to push the remotes button, take the key out, put the car in nuetral, and lock the doors. When you get out of the car with the key out, the car keeps running for a little while which means that next time you can remote start the car. If you open the doors, it won’t start. Its a weird little safty mechanism. Its kind of a pain but i think its worth it.
