I have a Galaxy 5100RS car alarm/remote starter for a manual vehicle. I need to know before I start installing it, what other parts I am going to need in order to install the car alarm on a vehicle that has manual windows/locks? If you can help, I would appreciate it!!

I've got a Python 990 alarm in my car and a DEI 522t Trunk Release Solenoid. I am trying to wire the solenoid to my alarm so I can open it with the remote. The only way that I can figure how to wire it is by using one of the channel outputs on the alarm, but those are all 200ma (-) output. The ground wire for the solenoid needs 10A.

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Well I've been reading up on relays, but I'm unsure of how to wire it. Since my 200mA output is a (-), do I need to get a relay without a diode in it? or what?

From what I can tell, I need to connect pin 30 to my battery (+) terminal and pin 87 to my solenoid. Is this correct?

I'm really unsure about the coil pins. Do i need a positive and a ground on that?

We have a 2009 Chevrolet Express, a rather large van. I was wondering what the best choice for alarm systems would be. Ive looked a few up, but am unsure how that would connect into the car's existing electrical systems and how secure it would be for a vehicle that is larger than most cars that is is designed for.
