Python Alarm 2-WAY Remote Wont Work?

I have a Python Alarm w/ Remote Start. I can still lock/unlock, arm/disarm my truck, BUT, the image on my remote will not change, nor will i get a confirmation from the remote such as a chirp saying it has locked or unlocked. I can still remote start it and everything.

The wireless Rx symbol on the remote still flashes, but when I arm my car, it shows that the connection with the alarm couldnt be reached. Also, when I disarm my car, my LED indicator will blink 3 times?

Can anyone please give me some info on ways of troubleshooting this problem? Either by offering your solustions, or directing me towards an online manual? Thanks in advance for your help.

ALARM INFO:
Python 479V/P/C

    The remote is not bad.
The numbers you gave are the remotes model number not the alarm/remote starters model number. The 479 remote is used on the Python 990 system. Make a note of this model number in case you need it again in the future. The owners manual is here…

You may want to save it to your computer or print it for future use.
You most likely have the page notification turned off on the remote. This helps prolong the battery life of the remote by not allowing it monitor the system status on a continuous basis. To turn the page notification back on press and hold the programming button on the back of the remote until it emits 1 long beep then press the lock button on the remote then wait a few seconds and the remote will exit programming mode indicated by another long beep. Your remote should now show the system status each time you use it. If this does not work you may need to relearn the remote to the system. To do this you will need to locate the valet button that should have been installed under the dash somewhere (the installer should have shown you where this is located). To relearn the remote to the system turn the ignition key on then within 10 seconds press and release the valet switch then press it one more time but hold it in this time. The siren will chirp one time, then while still holding the valet button in press the lock button on the remote. The siren should chirp one time again indicating it learned the remote code. Turn the key off and the system will emit one or two short chirps followed by one or two long chirps indicating that programming mode has exited. The remote is now reprogrammed and should function normally. If it still does not function the way it should then you may have a bad antenna or antenna cable on the system.
The LED blinking 3 times after disarming means that the door trigger has been activated while the alarm was armed. This should reset each time the key is turned on and off and should then only blink 2 times upon disarm. It is possible that this can be caused if your car has dome light delay when you close the door and you arm the alarm before the dome light goes out if the door trigger wire was connected to the dome light wire rather than the actual door pin wire like it should be. If that is the case, it’s nothing to worry about. The alarm will temporarily ignore the door trigger until the light goes out then will resume monitoring the door trigger again. The LED just blinks 3 times to let you know it detected the door trigger as an open zone.
    Hope this helps.
