I want to get a car alarm, whats the best! And is LoJack worth it?

LoJack is okay, but Dateline just did a show on Lojack, they put cars out in areas that had been reported stolen with Lojack in them, and the cops just kept driving by and not investigating it. They even showed a close up of the police car with there Lojack monitor going crazy saying they’re was a stolen car in the area. To your alarm system. Just getting a basic car alarm is all you need. I see adds all the time for $99 installed.
