I bought a Directed Electronics model 20930 . And let me tell you it is absolutely the BEST $19.20 I ever spent. It is a simple 2 wire install (pos and neg) and it senses and current draw, like opening the doors and has an adjustable shock sensor and also 8 different alarm modes. This alarm performs as promised. It was easy to install. I had installed a new stereo and wanted a little protection for it and this alarm does that. I hooked up the headlight wire but not the starter disconnect and it works great. Position the antenna correctly and the transmit range is quite good.
