I have a Python (FCC: EZSDEI475) remote start/keyless entry/alarm for my Honda Accord 97' LX. I can use keyless entry, remote start and sound off the distress sound but the alarm won't start. Normally when I lock my car using the remote, the alarm should set on with a beep. And when I unlock the alarm should set off with a beep. However, it no longer does that. What may be wrong and how can i fix it?

I recently lost my keys to my car as well as the remote clicker for my car alarm. I had to call a locksmith out to have my car re-keyed. I then had to cut the wire leading to the horn of my security alarm to keep it from going off. It was a nightmare !! Now nothing works in my car. My door locks don't work and my radio doesn't work because everything worked off that alarm. Thank god I didn't add an ignition shut off with my alarm system. Please help and give me advise on who I can call in the Los Angeles area that can pull out my alarm system. Thanks.

The alarm is some sort of Python 1400 or other. I'll start my car multiple times in a day, and then sometimes, the alarm will just decide to kill the ignition. I can still hear the fuel pump go, and the relay clicking and the lights dim.
I've timed it (because it's happened so many #$%^%^&*@! times), and I have to wait exactly 15 min before it will work again. If I try to start it before the time has elapsed, it will reset the timer.
How can I disable this God-forsaken feature or just plain disable the crappy alarm system altogether?
Also: I know about the valet switch and it is off. The little red light blinks when I arm the system and turns off when I unarm it.

I have a Python 872 alarm in my Grand Cherokee. I've had it for 2 months now with no issues. Recently the alarm has been going off randomly but ONLY when I'm at home. It does not do this at my work or at the store... when I get in, the LED blinks 4 times; manual says "instant trigger for optional sensors". What the heck is going on?

I bought a python 881 xp from circuit city and was told i need several wires due to my car having chips in the keys, and a keyless entry system. Was I being taken advantage of?

The car alarm is an aftermarket Prestige model (it has a valet switch). The valet switch didn't stop it from sounding last time I removed the battery cable.
