  • MREURONCAP says:

Why not to implement that directly on the normal key of the car? WHY NOT?

All black wires and a special key form…big deal.

Powerlock or Factory RFID based immobilizers aren’t bypassed.

RFID in car systems use challenge response by the way and not unique ids. You can still clone the keys with a $800+ cloner though..

Check out V Start, its better than this system and much easier to install. Plus it cannot be by passed from inside the vehicle.See the

That device installed would probably cost more than my Effin Car!

A thief is NOT gonna spend a fuckload of time trying to steal a car. He’s gonna go after one he can get in and out with…

  • Morbutt says:

Pretty funny how people are so quick to talk about how this car alarm is shit, when there has not been a single car stolen ever since the Ravelco came out.

Honestly kids, do your research, look on their site, find info all over the net (you’re on the net right now! *gasp!*)

  • Morbutt says:

No, Ravelco manufactures these things so that no two deactivating keys are the same. If you want to buy a replacement, you have to provide proof that you are the owner and not a potential thief.

  • Morbutt says:

Well yeah, those are the cars people actually want to steal…..

  • xcessivecc says:

My M6 just got stolen. Seems someone at the dealer may have issued him a key. Either that or they copied the keys code while valet parked somewhere. This seems like it would atleast slow them down.

    The best protection is assurance;)

  • gtpmarsden says:

It doesn’t matter if the wires are black… if you still want the car, you’ll know what wires to look for. They all tap into coloured wires!! Just get a schematic for it!! :)

  • fridaynightovernight says:

    That is cool

  • XXCOLINXXX says:

dont all modules of it use the same deactivating key?

  • ejv2187 says:

German cars and Japanese cars considered best on the market. Do you really think American cars have a chance?

  • nmjrfc says:
